Her father was a clothier to the stars, designing outfits for the Rolling Stones, Jimmy Buffet, Michael Douglas, Chevy Chase, Barbara Streisand, the film and TV industry in Hollywood and the creative industry for 40 years. Vanessa proudly carries on the family tradition on the side in her free time, creating a line of bespoke clothing, a limited edition line of new clothing, and restyled vintage line using one of a kind fabrics from around the globe purchased on her travels. Her collection of rare Kimono fabric inlaid jean jackets, one of a kind hand fabric handbags and clutches and more. She also has a French linen line of blouses, dresses and luxury aprons
